ServiceKing is software for running a service company. This page says what we keep, why, and how to get rid of it.

Your account

We keep your email address, your name, a one-way hash of your password, and the company you create. We use these to run your account and to send the emails you ask for.

Your company's data

Your customers, jobs, estimates, invoices, photos, forms and everything else you put in belong to you. We store them to provide ServiceKing to you and for nothing else. We don't sell them, share them with advertisers, or use them to train AI models.

The people you serve are your customers, not ours. You decide what you hold about them and what you send them, and you're responsible for having the right to do so.

Services you connect

Nothing leaves ServiceKing for another company until you connect it. If you connect Twilio, texts and calls go through your Twilio account. If you connect Stripe, card payments go through your Stripe account, and we never see or keep card numbers. If you connect your own email server, your emails go through it. Your keys for these are stored encrypted.

Addresses on the dispatch map are drawn on map images from OpenStreetMap, so your browser asks that service for the map around them.

On a technician's phone

So that the app works with no signal, the day's jobs, the pricebook and any work not yet sent are kept on the technician's own device. Signing out removes what's needed to open it, and you can remove someone from your team at any time.

Cookies

We use one cookie, to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies on this site.

Taking your data with you, or deleting it

You can download your whole company from Settings at any time, as plain spreadsheets and files. You can also delete your company there. Deleting removes the data from our live systems straight away, and from backups within 30 days.

Where it is kept

Our servers are in Germany, with Hetzner.
